Common Questions
- Prayer times may vary slightly from your local masjid depending on method and iqamah settings.
- Qibla direction depends on your device sensors and location accuracy.
- Notifications must be enabled in iPhone Settings for prayer alerts to work. Individual prayer notification toggles are available in Settings → Prayer Notifications.
- Quran audio quality depends on the selected reciter and your connection during first load. Verse-by-verse reciters use cdn.islamic.network; surah-mode reciters (e.g. Saad Al-Ghamdi) use mp3quran.net.
- Hadith content (Nawawi's 40 and 40 Hadith Qudsi) is fetched from the AhmedBaset/hadith-json dataset via jsDelivr CDN. An internet connection is required on first load.
- To change the app language (Arabic, Urdu, French, English) or switch to 24-hour time, go to Settings → Language & Display.
- The Essentials Learning Hub (5 Pillars, How to Pray, daily Dhikr) is available from the More tab under Learn & Practice.
- Islamic calendar dates are computed algorithmically using the Umm al-Qura system and may differ by 1–2 days from moon-sighting based dates in your region.
